Dortmund official: Hummels joins the club s Walk of Fame
According to official Dortmund, Hummels' name appeared on the club's Avenue of Stars.
This black stone slab with golden stars engraved with the words "Matz Hummels" and "2014 World Champion" has been embedded in the ground of the square in front of the North Stand.
36-year-old Hummelz played for Dortmund from 2008 to 2016 and from 2019 to 2024. During his career, he has made a total of 508 appearances for the team and contributed 38 goals and 23 assists.
