Inter Miami Club officially announced that it has reached an agreement with the club's youth training player David Ruiz. The two parties have renewed their contract until 2028, plus a one-year contract extension option.

The 21-year-old Ruiz joined Inter Miami in 2021 and was promoted to the first team in 2023, helping the team win a League Cup championship and a Supporters' Shield championship.
