On Friday local time, Lyon officially announced that the team's 32-year-old midfielder Joeldan Weiletu will transfer to Qatar team Arabi SC.

Lyon official said that Weiletu has transferred to Qatar club Arabi SC, with the transfer fee of 500,000 euros. Lyon has a share clause of 50% of the player's future transfer income.

The midfielder joined Lyon in September 2024 and played 38 games for the team in various competitions.
