Doncic: I was born in 1999 and was still a post-90s. I didn’t have a basketball skills coach when I was a kid.

Today, Lakers forward James' podcast program "The Brain of the Field" aired in the ninth episode of the second season, with James, Doncic and host Nash talking about many topics.

Nash: "Did you have any skilled coaches when you grew up in Slovenia?"

Doncic: "No, only my coach. I don't think there were skilled coaches at that time. You know, I was still born in the 1990s, born in 1999. That's still the 1990s."

Nash: "Just go with it."

James: "Oh, my god. He was born in 1999, which is so crazy. He said he was born in 1999, and I was immediately sleepy."

Nash: "I was as old as you in 1999. You noticed my gray hair."

James: "That's crazy."
