Howard: Now that I have retired, I won’t be able to guard Jokic, but I’ll have no problem practicing and playing in the NBA.

Recently, Howard talked with Michael Porter Jr. about the issue of defending Jokic on his podcast "Above The Rim with DH 12".
Little Porter: Although you have lost some weight, you feel very good. Now if you were assigned to an NBA game and you were asked to guard Nikola Jokic, what would you think?
Howard: It definitely won’t work now.
Little Porter: But what if I give you some time? How old are you now?
Howard: I am 39 years old.
Porter Jr.: If you really want to participate in an NBA game, how do you feel about your physical condition?
Howard: Oh, if I train a bit, I can still play. I train every day and I think my body is used to it, just like a shooter, my body has muscle memory. So even if I take some time off, my body knows it's time to get back to that state.
