Nick Yang to McGrady: You don t have the killer mentality of Kobe, so he is the first person after Jordan

Recently, McGrady and Nick Young participated in Arenas' podcast "The Gilbert Arenas Show", and talked about Kobe's killer mentality.

Nick Young said to McGrady: "You have to have that killer mentality, go in and tell everyone that they will beat you or you will win the championship. Just like Kobe, he has a firm mindset and thinks he must be the winner. He said something like this, 'I'm not the second place, either I win or he wins!'"

McGrady said: "Please, you were young people at that time, 25 or 26, right?"

Nick Young replied: "You don't have that mentality, which makes Kobe always give his all in the game. And Kobe has never been willing to be the No. 2 person in the team.
