Today, the Polish national team revoked its position as captain Lewandowski. Lewandowski then stated that he lacked trust in national team coach Probildz and would withdraw from the national team during his tenure.

Polish media meczyki reporter Tomasz Włodarczyk said: "Probildz called Lewandowski, announced his decision, and then hung up the phone. A few seconds later, a message appeared on Twitter. There was no discussion here, no two-way communication.

In my opinion, Lewandowski thinks the coach has forced him into a desperate situation. There is no trust on both sides anymore, and I think things could have been different."

Lewandowski has been the captain of Poland since 2014 and has been the captain of the Polish national team for more than 10 years.
