The contract expires next year! Mingueza: There is currently no progress in renewing the contract, I want to stay with the team

Celta Vigo defender Mingesa was interviewed recently. He stated that there was no progress in renewing his contract.

Mingesa's contract will expire in June next year. He said: "I have no idea about the renewal situation. I am focused on doing the best possible, but there is no progress at the moment."

"I am good here, I feel very comfortable. Over the years I have I always hoped that the contract extension would be completed, but for one reason or another it didn't happen. I don't know what will happen, I am very happy, very happy and very eager to stay here."

The 26-year-old Mingueza has made 7 appearances in La Liga this season.
