Looney: There are a lot of emotions when playing the Warriors. It’s my second home. Ku Chui is my good big brother.

In an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports, Pelicans player Looney talked about facing his old club Warriors and former teammates on the court.
When asked about his expectations for those games with the Warriors, Looney said: "There will definitely be a lot of emotions. It is my second home. I really want to compete with them. I often bickered with Curry and Dream Chaser in the Warriors, and they will continue in the game. But this is not revenge, just competition. I treat them as big brothers, and of course it would be better if I can win."
When asked if he had any rubbish with Curry and Dream Chaser. During the conversation, Looney said: "I remember one thing very clearly. In the training camp of my sophomore year, Chai Meng kept yelling at me, 'You can't score!' I was still finding my form at the time. After that, I told myself that I had to learn to match his energy. Later in practice, I guarded Curry several times, and I kept shouting, 'Stop the ball!' As a result, he went straight in with a crotch, behind his back, step back, and a little swing. That's Curry."
